Le Figuier

This is a charming B&B with rooms distinctively and thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in Les Hortensias - good size with bathroom and separate toilet. Although it overlooked the road the shutters were effective keeping out noise and light and my wife, who sometimes has a sleep problem, had an excellent night's rest. Just what you want on an overnight stop returning from the Lot Valley. The hosts - Micha and Philippe - were charming and thoughtful; Micha helped us find parking on arrival and Philippe served a delicious breakfast in the garden room. Had it been a little warmer we would have been able to use the pool but the garden is a beautiful example of what can be done, by experienced gardeners, with a town garden. For us you could not find a better overnight stop on the way back to the Channel ports.
