Feriengut Bohn 

On arrival I spoke in German straight away as I don't think the owners speak much English. Our room and en-suite was very clean and spacious with dressing table, small circular table and three chairs! There seemed to be a space, shelf or hook for everything. The room was at the front of the house facing a busy road but we were surprised at how quiet it was due to the efficient double glazing and the fact that we could keep the window shut at night in what was very hot weather as there was air conditioning. We slept really well in the comfortable bed. In common with most B&Bs on the continent there was no coffee/tea making facility but there was a mini bar/fridge with cold drinks and some of their wines. The fridge came in very handy for our Swiss chocolates that were beginning to melt in the hot weather. The only negative really was the lack of any toiletries in the en-suite, not even a soap!! I don't think we have found this lack in any other B&B. Breakfast was very good and varied. We left with a few bottles of their lovely Mosel wines. The B&B is not far from Bernkastel and you could walk there, it's 2 and a bit miles. We drove there though and were able to park at the front by the river, you get one hour free and after 19.00 hrs it's free anyway but you need to get a ticket from the machine anyway and display it in your car. Bernkastel is an amazing historic town and well worth a visit, plenty of restaurants too.
