Son Ferragut in Sa Pobla 

Even though only two of us went, we took this 8 berth villa because it was in the countryside, surrounded by trees and away from noisy streets and areas. We were very impressed with the electric gate entry and long drive to the property but even more so when we saw the immaculate garden and outside area. Absolutely loved the native feel of this villa and interior furnishings. It was just like moving into someones home. About the only thing about the villa we were not so keen on was the darkness of the interior and especially the bedroom area. This was mainly because the shutters were kept closed to keep the heat down but is lost some of its character here. The pool was straightforward and on the same level as the lower sunbathing deck and I loved the temperature but my wife found it too cold for her in a lucky June heatwave that topped 40 degrees at times! Great brick built barbecue and plenty of places to sit according to your preferences of direction of the sun. Our biggest gripe, such that it was, was the local herd of sheep was let in to graze around the back of the villa and their bleating and bells would often disturb us at night. Also the local vet paid one of two visits and went round the side of the villa whilst we were in our skimpies. The owner was lovely although English was not her strongpoint and German wasn't ours. All in all we loved it here and would definitely go back.
