C+m+b 

Axams is only a short drive from Innsbruck and gives you a break from the city which can easily be gotten to the following morning. You get to experience a small town in an alpine or tyrol scene and a sense of community as opposed to a large city. The C + M + B hotel is a family-owned and run 400 year old classic alpine hotel set against a classic tyrol backdrop. Time stands still once inside and Christine gives personal attention to whatever is needed. We watched her give this one-on-one to each group of travellers who arrived. She was most accommodating in providing us a family suite so we had extra room for a small mobility scooter, and no extra charge. Driving a hire-car, we had free parking on-site. Wi Fi was strong on the ground floor but not so on the other levels. To hear the sound of running water through the town was wonderful to go to sleep with. There are views all round. Plenty of food outlets open in the nearby streets and at reasonable prices. Lots of quality and style has gone into restoring this centuries-old home and it was great to meet three generations of the one family. The hallways have exquisite antique furnishings making you feel like you'd steeped back in time. The rooms themselves are large with modern facilities. Sleep was on a big bed with firm mattress and big pillows. The bathroom had both shower and bath plus separate toilet and two washbasins. Big fluffy towels and soaps and hairdryer available. There was huge wardrobe space and nothing lacking at all. The heated towel rails were turned on and the suite was very warm, but plenty of sunny windows to be opened on to a large balcony overlooking the tyrol scenery. We personally thank Christine for such a lovely welcome and yes, we would definitely love to return. You run such a fantastic place there and we hope you continue to spread the happiness you give.
