I have  been staying in this guesthouse most years in the past 25-30 years ,the food is fantastic ,Eva always very kind and helpful rooms are nice and clean ,great place to stay ,
Very sad that Lloyd is not there anymore he was a legend and will not be forgotten ,I will always come here as it is a great base for skiing   you can drive to Zillertal  valley  or over the Brenner pass to the stubai glacier for powder snow conditions

Great food, great prices. We ended up coming here multiple times in a twee week period around the city. Easily the best schnitzel we had in our life, and we had quite some. Bill ended up around 80 euro's with 5 persons, which is an absolute steal in our book. Did not sleep here.

Very good traditional food. I had an outstanding season mushroom soup, highly suggested.
I also really appreciated  how nice they are with the children, with special plates made for them. My sons were really happy with everything.

we visited this restaurant twelve months ago. we said we would return for my birthday celebrations this year. so glad we did, the food is just as good, fantastic staff, really  friendly  and helpful. English speaking.the menu is excellent.look forward to returning soon.

this is without doubt a excellent family run hotel and restaurant.very friendly staff and the food is superb.when we are on holiday we always visit gasthof steixner. we are already planning our next visit early next year.

We did not stay at this hotel but went there for lunch as it was recommended by the locals. We were wonderfully surprised at their warm welcome and service. The menu was in German but the waitress patiently explained all the menu items to us. She suggested their secret recipe which was stuffed pork with ham and some mushrooms with low bush cranberry sauce. It was good to the name and was out of the world. Another local tiroli dish we tried was some baked potatoes with assortment of meat and one poached egg on top. The drinks were very cheap and would love to visit this place again.

At the restaurant you get value for your money! Good variety of dishes to choose from, tasty and well presented.
Sizeable portions. The waitresses were attentive and friendly. The chef, Christian came to our table and asked if all was well. We were all more than pleased with the service and menu, I shall definitely not only recommend this restaurant, but also come back again.

We flew into MUC and drove to Weer so as to go to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens (5 minute drive) the next day......Weer is a quaint little town, hardly any tourists and the Hotel was Family run and many locals hung out in the Bar & Restaurant....the Rooms were very nice.....Service was outstanding.......if ever back in the Innsbruck area will certainly stay here again.......Bill in North Texas....
