Tranquility at its best. Simplicity and quality in every single aspect. A wonderful place in the middle of a vineyard. Spacious room with a few wine details as decoration. Smartly designed bathroom. A fantastic, huge window overlooking the vineyard. There is also a small pool surrounded by the vines. There are small tables and chairs outside each ground floor rooms and some additional ones around the hotel (it`s actually a small building) to enjoy the views. After the working hours of the restaurant, one can use their honesty bar (very well-stocked for wine lovers). Because it was really hot when we arrived, we had dinner outside, among trees. The food was absolutely delicious with great wine recommendations (quite a few produced at that very vineyard) produced locally. Breakfast – again delicious, with home-made jams (with apricot jam that Wachau Valley is famous for; also available to purchase and take home). The staff – friendly and helpful. I wish the place was closer to where we live.
