We book the hotel because we have been to the area before and really enjoyed it. Raffls hotel far exceeded our expectations in all areas. The welcome was warm and genuine and there was plenty of information at hand. We liked the area because of it's cross country skiing. What we didn't realise was how close it was to the skiing tracks. It was literally across the road and a 100m walk. The breakfast was very extensive and set us up for a very physical day out skiing around a superbly prepared skiing area. It boasts one of the longest continuous loips in Austria. There are a great number of tracks to ski on and many link up so you can have your choice of distance and scenery. Other facilities at the hotel included the spa area which was just what we needed after being out skiing for the day. It set us up for a relaxing night in the restaurant which served good quality traditional food. We have already thought about returning later in the year or early next year. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and also spoke good English which was helpful, as I'm a little rusty with my German. Great location.
