This hotel made this trip. Ski in/out, easy ski hire, food outstanding and staff amazing. Already emailed the company about booking for February 2028.

The 10th time there as a school group.  As always, outstanding for what it is.  Increadible location, 10 metres from the snow.  Staff couldn't have been more helpful.  The rooms are basic but warm and clean, with plenty of hot water - just what you need for a school trip.  The food was well cooked and plentiful - they cater for school groups and know what children like.  Managers Kevin and Sue continue to do a top job.  Have already booked for next winter.

I really love going to Le Skilt. The food is delicious, excellent staff and great location. 
Amazing apres nights and all round good vibes. Great live music, tunes and atmosphere.
I just wish they had Malibu.

With a smile from Christa, Lloyd, Jodie and just about every other staff member, we felt welcome. No request denied, difficult dietary requirements expertly handled, the choice of food genuinely impressive. 
Great local knowledge, fab evening excursions and a location unrivalled for getting over eighty pupils to and from the slope twice a day. 
This feels like a family run business and our children have been safe, happy and able to rest well each night. 
Thankyou to the whole skibound team and hotel skilt. We hope to be back!

Just visited with my school from Dundee and the staff where amazing. The food was so good and if you had any problems they would fix them, no matter how big or small ( my friend Jack is small). Even the room was great and the pillows and blanket where great

Best burger in Les Ménuires, great location and lovely staff!! Had the chicken burger and it was amazing. Sat on the terrace and the service was quick and great, our server Hugo was very helpful and attentive.

Whether for dinner or for lunch, no-one would confuse Les Menuires with Culinary Heaven. 
With that in mind, you better settle for a place with more-than-decent food, made up for by very good service and a good atmosphere.
We were looking for a bar where we could grab some food while watching the Bayern-Liverpool match, all this on a night when the French Lyon were playing Barcelona. This means you need at least more than one TV... and not sure even that will help.
The folks at Le Skilt wen out of their way to accommodate, enabling us to make a reservation to a specific table in front of a specific TV set. That enough in my book to warrant a good recommendation.
The food, as I mentioned, is certainly good. On game night the place was jam packed, and the staff handled it very well. Drinks arrived fast. Food arrived in a timely manner. I was specifically impressed when the person who seemed to be shift manager did not even step into a potential argument with a customer who wrongly complained about the temperature of his beer. In the midst of peak traffic, he offered that customer a beer glass with ice (suffice it to say that the fact that the customer accepted this offer is a great indication that his temperature observation could not have been correct :) 
So since most of the places are the same and serve pretty much the same food in Les Menuires, at least go to the one who respects you as a customer

Second year in les meniures and the skilt has been the local of choice two years running. Very well mannered and fun staff and great food. Pomme chaud isn't to be missed. Big shout out to James, Amy and Ellie, brilliant members of staff! Till next year! Marty and the Irish boys.

Best Place is Les Ménuires

There was good rooms and bad rooms unfortunately when I went I got a bad room: In the bathtub the paint near the plug was worn away and there was stains on the bed sheets. The hotel didn’t provide towels ( I learnt the hard way.)  

The staff were nice and the food was ok (a lot of potato though!) The games room was comfortable and there was plenty of seating.Overall, I think Le Skilt is ok.

It was alright

The hotel was pretty good but  sadly the door couldn’t open with a keycard and was never fixed during my stay; so we had to leave the door open when we went skiing and the maintenance always shut it after cleaning our rooms. The staff were always very helpful when we asked them for assistance and were a always very friendly. The food was not good however and we were served mouldy bread as couple of times. Although the breakfast was pretty good. The ski hotel was right next to the ski resort so it was easy to just go out skiing do it definitely had the best location. The bar could get a little loud during the night so I would recommend staying away from that. The view facing the slopes was amazing and I would definitely recommend this place with a few upgrades
