La Villa Andry 

Im surprised thos hotel does not have a higher TripAdvisor rating! Had a family room which is in the top tower looking over the beach. Spacious room, clean and well-apponted. Small but adequate bathroom. Nice touch of box of games and toys for children. Fabulous view over the beach. We stayed during the heatwave and the room was warm but this was exceptional. Comfortable beds and slept well. Yes there are only stairs but it is an old building which is full of history. The breakfast was slightly pricey but served in a wonderful dining room and a good selection of local pastries, cheese and yogurts etc. We booked the secure parking but probably could have easily parked on the road. We loved the hotel, particularly for its character. Staying in one of Ouistreham's old villas was a treat. The hotel is in easy walking distance of the beach, town and port making Ouistreham a great little break if crossing the Channel as a foot passenger. Ouistreham is a lovely town which I think many people just drive straight through when leaving the port. I would happily go back! Accept the hotel as the old historic building it is and dont expect lifts and porters.
