Premier Inn München City Schwabing

I kind of accidentally booked this place. I thought it was closer to town. Once I found out how to get into town, I had a few options and it worked pretty well. The hotel pretty much offered everything I needed. There was a small amount of snacks to pick from, included soup and pizzas, beer on tap, breakfast for a cost, there weren’t too many toiletries, but there was a dispenser of soap and a small teapot with a few copying options. Rooms were not cleaned every day, only at your request. That was fine with me.. You could ask for towels. This staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was a kebab shop next-door, which was great. That was also DHL Parcel shop so you could send packages and purchase things. There was a discount grocery shop on the ground level of the building that was open 8-8. There was no phone, but there was a TV. For me only three channels, I think had English.. Recommended if you don’t mind being a little out of town. tram stops, right next-door, buses, go by and take you to the underground only a few blocks away from there you can go directly to the central train station and down town.

Room was comfortable, warm, cozy and spacious. Wifi was fast and service was great. Parking is convenient.

Location close to tram and bus making travel connections easy to make throughout the city

We wanted to escape the craziness in the center of the city during Oktoberfest and this hotel was in a very quiet neighborhood. There was a tram stop right outside the door that ran every 20 minutes and connected to the metro. There were several small restaurants nearby that had good food and good service. The room was large and the beds very comfortable and had a good work area. The price was very reasonable during Oktoberfest.

We stayed 5 days. The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet.
The breakfast was great. We also enjoyed happy hour at the bar. They served food, but allowed us to bring in a pizza from the nearby pizzeria as we watched the Euro Cup. Staff was friendly and helpful
They will not clean your room unless you ask. They donate that money to charity. This is great. We have stayed in Premier Inns all over Europe and have never been dissatisfied.

The hotel was immaculate the staff so friendly nothing was to much trouble the room was clean and very comfortable the food was outstanding .
The location was perfect for the bus trams etc and bonus was Aldi to the rear of the hotel .
5 star well done to the team

We are a family of four that stayed 4 nights over the 2026 new years period.

- Our initial impression from outside the hotel wasn't great. However that changed once we got inside.
- The receptionist were all friendly and helpful and the check in and out process was very easy.
- Large clean rooms.
- Breakfast was excellent. Cheap (€17 euro per adult) and free for children and had a good selection of food.
- Surrounded by some good food shops. Aldi is on the ground floor, good for snacks for the kids and beer for the adults. ARA Kebab Haus around the corner has great food and very reasonably priced.
- Bar has a good selection of beer and cocktails. Daily Happy hour has 50% off drinks. The bar also has a good view.

- Expensive for personal car parking (€19 euro per night). Parking spots are very small. Not suitable for a large SUV (ladncruiser).
- Rooms were very hot due to the underfloor heating. Even when turned right down.
- Air conditioning was very loud.

Overall we'd be happy to stay here again.

Nice hotel for a family stay

Oktoberfest Alternate

Place that was still relative affordable during exhibition times in Munich. Needs bit traveling from the main train station; approx 40 Minutes; Ubahn and bus (stops in front hotel; frequent). With U2 U-Bahn directly to the Messe. Check-in/Out at higher floor. Room was good, and well isolated against noise from the busy road. Bakery around the corner for a quick breakfast or good coffee. Italian restaurant around a corner, as well convenience store.

Business trio, outside downtown

Great place to stay in munich at affordable price if you are with a car. You are only 12-15 min away from city center if no traffic. With traffic 25min.
Nice breakfast, a good room service. Rooms are clean, if you need room service you need to request during check in. Private parking is available 18eur/night. There is also a free parking opposite to hotel, however you may not be lucky to find a spot

Nice place, to stay if you have a car

Excellent Stay

My family of four needed two rooms on short notice and we were very well accommodated at Premier Inn. Rooms are comfortable and clean. A special thank you to the manager Mr. Bulut who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He was very helpful and kind and I would like to thank him again on behalf of the entire family.

Thank you Mr. Bulut!

Check in process was smooth and easy. Hotel rooms were of a decent size and clean. Friendly staff at reception who answered any questions we had. Would have been nice if both rooms we had booked were next to each other rather than different floors but other than that we had a great stay. Accessible to transport and local shops nearby.

Comfortable stay

I had an excellent 5 day stay at the hotel from the 5th August till 9th. Clean room, daily room service, coffee and tea replaced, helpful reception staff, perfect AC unlike the other Dusseldorf Premier Inn, and very well connected.
It is not central at all for anyone confused, but with the bus station right infront you don't have a problem.
Thank you Premier Inn Schwabing.
