We have stayed in this guesthaus for only one night during our road trip in the south of Germany.
It is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood at 5 minutes from the tram which will take you to the center in 10-15 minutes.
It was simple and clean, with a little fridge and a kettle in the room we could also enjoy an easy breakfast.
We have not met the host personally but she left the key for us close to the door and so check in and check out were really easy.
Really good value for money.


Simple and convenient guest house in Freiburg 

Parking free was good, but in the neighborhood of the hotel all public area is free.

Internet was not available. 

Refrigerator inside the room was old and to much noise. 

Bathroom is separated to the sleeping room and crossing a common area we lost privacy. This is not clear on pictures. 

After we complaint about internet two times, the lady told us the internet will not be fixed. We ask for a compensation and she said the problem is from Telekom and "it is not my problem". So, no compensation. Everyone may have problems, we understand it. But how you deal with the problem is the most important point. In this hotel, they don't deal very well with problems. All my work had a delay because we were not aware about the absence of internet. She was not fair telling us on time the internet will not works during our time in the hotel there.

Not recommended

This was our worst night on a month long travel through Europe. The girl who was suppose to let us in wasn't there but we reached her by phone. Key was left in planter. This room was terrible, in an industrial area, far from town, up some poorly lite stairs. the room was small, smelly, the bed, lumpy, pillows old and lumpy, sheets old. The curtain in the bathroom fell down so there was no privacy to shower. It was loud with other tenants/ Furnished with second hand old looking furniture and a noisy fridge. Do not stay here
