It was my first time visiting Budapest and I wanted a location that was affordable and also close to the sights. The Csaszar Hotel is in a prime location to everything you need and also close to the tram station if you wish to venture further out. The rooms are a bit basic but still comfortable with plenty of room. The staff was very helpful in offering places to go and things to do. Breakfast is provided and offers a decent meal before you go out to hit the town. There is an Olympic sized pool which I believe you can use and a thermal spa just around the corner. Some have mentioned issues with noise but there was never an issue during my stay. I greatly enjoyed this hotel and would do so again.
