BB Santa Rita 

Santa Rita was our favorite accommodation during our entire trip to Italy! We chose it because we felt it would work better for our children than a typical hotel and we definitely made the right choice. Upon arriving we were greeted by Elisabetta who was kind and helpful during our entire stay. She showed us the beautifully renovated farmhouse with high arched, brick ceilings and a two story glass and wrought iron door that allowed the sunlight to pour into the dining area where breakfast is served. Our area consisted of two upstairs bedrooms and a main floor bath with use of the kitchen. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean and spotless. Elisabetta thoughtfully provided us with bottles of water in our rooms and invited us to cake and cookies upon our arrival. We were exhausted after traveling from the US and it was a welcome treat that no other accommodation offered us. Our children loved it there as well. There were chickens and rabbits in a pen outside which provided our 9 & 12 year old children with hours of entertainment. Our daughter asked, "Can we just live here forever?" and my son commented that each morning was like Christmas as we came downstairs to see what Elisabetta had prepared for breakfast. We had wonderful hand made crostata and cakes and jams, yogurt and croissants and fruit - it was all delicious and beautifully presented. We were visiting relatives in Modena and we wanted to stay near them. Santa Rita was perfect as it is just a few km to Modena and also is close to the Ferrari museum and balsamic vinegar producing farms which we visited. Although our relatives live nearby they were not familiar with Santa Rita and they were as delighted with it as we were. Without question we will stay at Santa Rita on all future visits to Modena!!!
