The location was perfect! It was just a short walk downhill to the centre of town. Could not have been better. Lots of places to eat close by, and a wonderful 'handmade pasta' shop just round the corner. Look out for the pasta place - it's only take away, but very reasonably priced and delicious. We had trouble finding the apartment at first, but once in - brilliant. The street outside was noisy - especially at night, however once the windows were shut you could hear nothing at all. There is central heating - set at 22 degrees so the whole stay was very comfortable. I just wish the weather had cooperated a bit more - but there's nothing to be done about that. If you have a Netflix account - you can use it on the TV there.
