Lovely couple. Clean and welcoming establishment with comfortable room and en suite with jacuzzi. Situated on a very steep hill so a car would be advisable although there is a local bus. Lemon cake on arrival with fresh fruit and an enjoyable breakfast included in the price. It's a shame it wasn't nearer to the Town Centre.

The house is just a 20 minute walk away from the city centre (though is up a steep hill) which is very convenient for sightseeing and going into the city centre. There is also parking available there. The owners were very flexible and considerate regarding a cancellation we had for another room. The room we stayed in was very nicely decorated and modern with a lovely view but the road was a bit noisy (can't really be helped though). The breakfast was really nice and the owners were very thoughtful regarding our likes and dislikes. They were also very helpful, informing us of when was best to visit certain attractions which was valuable knowledge as we avoided all the queues. We would really recommend staying here.

The High Orchard is a beautifully decorated modern home with a view from the first floor of Bath nestled in the valley of the river Avon. The neighborhood has many mature trees, and the National Trust Prior Park and Prior Park College are on the opposite side of the road. From our arrival to the end of a 3 night stay in May 2017 we felt at home and enjoyed the guest public lounge with a view towards Bath and the surrounding green hills. The king room and ensuite shower room were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The nice shower products and face tissues were much appreciated. Breakfast, with a variety (melon, pineapple, plums, strawberries and grapes) of carefully prepared and displayed fresh fruit , cereals, fruit juice, and various cooked options was definitely 5-star! Our hosts made us feel welcome at every turn, for example providing sun loungers to enjoy a short spell of English sunshine in the garden, fresh cake daily on the tea tray in our bedroom, and water and fruit for our forward journey. Travelling and sight-seeing can be tiring, but if you have a place like the High Orchard to retire, you will definitely be refreshed and relaxed to pursue your next adventure…

Great and helpful hosts, the lemon drizzle cake on arrival was a nice touch.Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed our stay. Will be highly recommending to friends and family looking at visiting Bath.

My wife and I stayed here for the last weekend of the Bath Christmas markets. What a lovely place it is. Jack and Marion made us feel welcome from the minute we arrive. We were shown up to our room which was nicely sized with a lovely big king-size bed and a modern en suite that would fit into any 5 start hotel. The view from the room was outstanding overlooking Bath. We even had fresh homemade cake left for us in our room. The breakfast was outstanding too, lots of fresh fruits, yoghurt and cereals to help yourself too while Marion was busy cooking a lovely full English. We will definitely be returning next year. Thank you (The Williams)
