The Stables 

We stayed in Stables 2 and it was a beautiful and cosy apartment. A friendly cat greeted us and made sure we we were all settled in :) and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of red wine, cookies, a nespresso machine with four pods and firewood for the fire. The kitchen is kitted out perfectly and had everything we needed. The bathroom was nice, with a shower and spme toiletries and all very clean. We had the best sleep in the bed, which was more comfy than my own bed, so now I'm thinking I need a new mattress! The pillows were 5* pilllows - so comfy! There were lovely little touches from the art work on the walls, the heart with fairly lights on it on the dresser where you walk in, to a little book of Yorkshire poems which my other half found funny listening to me read in my Manchester accent - he sounded much better reading them with his Yorkshire accent! There are plenty of places to eat in this beautiful little village and lovely walks to be taken.Thank you to the attentive host for checking in with us to make sure all was okay, too.
