Omesberg-Hütt'n 

Our family of 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 10, 8, and 7) spent a wonderful week in the chalet earlier this summer. Chalet: The chalet is beautifully designed with natural solid materials (lots of wood!). It feels cosy yet light and bright, it was very clean and comes complete with all mod-cons. It’s set over three floors, with the open plan living area on the ground floor, and the 3x bedrooms, bathrooms and sauna on the lower ground and first floors. The beds were really comfy. Lots of storage in the bedrooms too. Views and sounds from the chalet balcony are stunning - fresh mountain air and the sound of the flowing river beneath the chalet! There’s also a small BBQ plus table / chairs outside too, so you can sit and take it all in. The chalet was cleaned daily and a delicious breakfast was provided daily (a real highlight - beautifully set out on the dining table at our chosen time, including plenty of juices, pastries, cereals, fruit, meats, cheeses etc). The host offers other services too but we didn’t use these. Host: The host was incredibly warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful to our whole family - before our arrival, throughout our stay, and on leaving too! Location: Not only is the chalet is located within walking distance of the center of Lech (approx 10 mins), it is located just 5 mins from the outdoor forest swimming complex, and on the doorstep of some stunning hiking routes. Surrounding area: We’ve now visited Lech in summer and winter. Winter = fabulous ski resort; Summer = fabulous for hiking, biking, relaxing + really great kids daily program (archery, canyoning, climbing, etc). There are some wonderful restaurants too - both up in the mountains and at resort level. The resort has plenty to offer!
