Came to Beffoux as our last stay-over on our way to Caen returning to the UK after a week long holiday in southern France. With 4 others in the party we took all the rooms at Beffoux for the night. A very comforting and welcoming host and hostess in Gilles and Claudine who genuinely enjoy the company of guests and are warm and very pleasant to talk to. We were happy to take up the offer of evening dinner with our hosts and I can say absolutely that the menu on offer is traditionally French, very comprehensive and filling, with delicious wine of local origin that we all enjoyed very much. Comfortable beds, good facilities and a simple but more than adequate breakfast made our short stay complete. Would we choose to stay again? Certainly with no hesitation, and I encourage anyone to do the same and discover this rural haven with stunning views for yourself, and do so soon! Incredible value for money.
