While this is not a very modern guest house, it certainly has that old-world charm that you really want when experiencing another country. The host is super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is a delicious selection of German meats, cheeses, fruits, etc. Our room was very high up, meaning that we had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to and from our room, which was not ideal, but the host helped us with our bags. The furnished balcony had a nice view of a courtyard and some view of the river and valley (and a nice church tower). The best part of this accommodation is its location - this was the perfect basis for not only exploring the town, but also for getting to the castle. Excellent. Really the only drawback is the lack of mini-fridge and kettle in the room.
