This was a nice small hotel, but Kleinenbroich is not a hub of activity. It is very clean with spacious rooms and bathrooms and has a minibar. There's also an 'Honesty Bar/fridge' on the first floor that you can square up with reception the following day. The staff are nice and friendly and make you feel welcome. The only downside is that it is a around 15 minutes walk from the station and there's not much going on in the town. There is a bar near the station, although it was closed when we were there as it was a public holiday. The trains are regular and Mönchengladbach and Dusseldorf are easily reached.
