Our fourth and hopefully not our last stay in this excellent hotel. The location is excellent, the parking is very easy and secure, the hosts and staff are lovely and very helpful - we had some specific questions about places to visit and were given lots of useful information (we visited all the places described) - and the rooms are very comfortable and warm and some have great views over the town. A great base for seeing Schloss Wernigerode, the wonderful Harz Mountains, the Harzerschmalspurbahn, Goslar, Gernrode, Halberstad, the Rammelsburg, Dora-Mittelbau, Wernigerode itself of course, the Bodetal and lots of other places. There are some excellent restaurants within a few minutes' walk, and the staff will be happy to make reservations for you if you so wish. We just love it here. Thank you to the hosts and the staff for another wonderful stay!
