My cousin arranged a family pranzo in the restaurant at Casa Gianino. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome into a "home" (which is a converted convent, I believe). The grounds are charming, and the staff was efficient and inviting. We enjoyed family style dining for our large table, and got the chance to meet relatives and enjoy each others company because we never felt rushed! The food kept appearing at out table, and it was always hot and delicious. Honestly, there were some dishes I didn't even know, but we all tried whatever was in front of us (OH, the crescentines!), and loved every bite! It was a celebration of tradition, culture, and family! I hope to return to do it all again!
