B&b Le Vele is my special place owned by Ale and Massimo. It is my home away from home. It’s a place that I’m looking forward to come again every winter. This year was my third time here. There are a lot of reasons that I love this place so much. First because it is a very quiet place. You lay by the pool and what you here are birds singing and wind blowing. It seems as the world stops in front of b&b’s doors. And inside you feel like in a cocoon full of beautiful flowers and trees. The garden is just amazing. It’s because Massimo takes care of it every day. Also the pool is very clean and it’s an excellent replacement when you don’t feel like going to the beach. Also the rooms are all very nice and always very clean. And I must say that I sleep better here than at home. Every morning I look forward to the delicious breakfast that Alessandra prepairs. They are a bit different every day, and every day she prepairs fresh juices and home baked cookies and bread. All the ingredients are local and she chooses them very carefully by local farmers and providers. Ale and Massimo are the really heart of Le Vele. You can really feel that they put love in every little detail of the b&b. I think they are the main reason that I come back there every year. They really make you feel at home. They are always very nice and friendly to all the guests but never pushy. And always with a smile on their faces. They always help you with everything and give you excellent advices where to eat or where are the best beaches. Sometimes they also make dinners where all the guests gather and even cooking courses, where you can learn how to make local pasta orechiette. I would also recommend to have a shiatzu massage in the garden. This is an extra offer they have and Andrea, the masseur, it’s really very good at it. I would highly recommend Le Vele if you look for a very special, beautiful and calm place to spend your holidays.

Wow! What a great place to stay and what a great couple who own this Bed and Breakfast. First the professionalism and communication with Alessandra is excellent. The breakfasts are terrific and change daily. Massimo is on top of the property and everything is in order to the quality of the rooms to the beautiful grounds. I love bed and breakfasts in Italy and often ask B&B owners why they give such great service. Alessandra gave the best answer I ever heard. She said that to her the "guest is sacred". We certainly felt that way as Alesandra and Massimo went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Le Vele has great access to beautiful beaches and Maruggio was a pleasant surprise. We had so much nearby but the best part was enjoying the pool and grounds of Le Vele. Thank You both for a wonderful stay!

Le Vele is a great b&b,located in the middle of nowhere in the South of Puglia,but very convenient location to the beautiful Ionic sea and beaches as well as to the charming town of Maruggio.Our room was very comfortable,well equipped with a fridge and private patio area,
Exceptionally good breakfast prepared by Alessandra,the owner,where she surprised us every morning for our 4days stay with a fresh juice made from local fruits and herbs,home made cakes and fantastic bread.It was giving us the energy and smile for the rest of the day.
Massimo made us feel at home with his great smile and readiness to show the best spots all around.Le Vele with its beautiful garden and swimming pool is an oasis of calm,however we will never forget our last Saturday night party of our stay,all together organized by Alessandra,Massimo and great Italian guests staying at Levele at the same time.What a night to remember!

Stayed at Le Vele the second time this spring, couldn't wait to come back again! The garden is beautiful and Massimo is taking care of every single plant with love and affection. Just lying in the hammock, jumping in the swimming pool here and then, a coffee with Ale ... Great! Ale's breakfasts are delicious (try her crostata and lemon pie!), you just can't say no to an extra peace of cake ... The rooms are modern, very clean the whole villa and the garden are full of cute, mediterranean details. The sandy beach is 2 min by bike (provided for free by Le Vele), if you're into sports it's a perfect landscape for jogging or biking. It's also a good starting point for day trips to Ostuni, Matera, Alberobello & co.
Beautiful stay with great hosts!

Man traveled to the moon, but maybe he should have traveled to LeVele before that:) we had a great time, Ale&Max are splendid hosts and Maya - the cat -  makes the best trio. Their garden is like a peace of heaven on Earth, full of different plants and interesting details. round there there are plenty things to see and do.

The place is absolutely fabulous and the stay even better! The B&B is actually a huge villa with great rooms, each with their privacy and then there Is the common space of pool and breakfast terrace. The couple who manages the B&B is great! Massimo is funny, warm and always attentive to the guests' needs and Alessandra is lively, available and a great baker! If I ever go back to Apulia, that is the where I want to stay!
