Traveled as a couple 43m/34f Travel date: Late April, early May 2026 Naples was the first stop on our vacation, and we arrived around 8:30 PM. This is important because when we got to the hotel, there wasn’t anyone at the front desk to let us in. We were able to call Luca, who came right over within 10 or 15 minutes to let us into the hotel and show us around. One word of advice: be sure to share your contact information with the hotel when you reserve a room here. It will save you a lot of headaches. Luca was so friendly and helpful. He showed us all of the things to do in and around Naples, and if not for him, I probably would have lowered the number of stars on this review. The place itself is on the third floor, and there are definitely bars and restaurants right below. Neither of these things bothered us all that much, despite what some other reviews have suggested. The bathroom is definitely very small. There’s something about Italy and their small showers, and this shower is no exception. If you need a bigger shower, simply don’t book this place. We also found the bed to be relatively hard. Of the five or six places we stayed in Italy, at least three or four of them had really uncomfortable beds. I think it’s an Italian thing. For us, the room was very functional. It was right in the middle of everything, and the location was really important to us. It was super close to the water’s edge, some great restaurants, and an area known for luxury shopping. Some of Naples can feel unsafe late at night, but this hotel was in a really good location. We didn’t feel nervous or scared because of that. If you’re looking for a functional place in a good location, this is your spot. If you’re looking for a place with all the bells and whistles, or you can’t deal with a small bathroom, small shower, or even an uncomfortable bed, I recommend going somewhere else. As I mentioned before, Luca really did an excellent job giving us recommendations, and that was worth its weight in gold. I’ve found that when traveling, it’s often the people and their recommendations that really make the difference, not the size of the shower. But everyone has their needs.
