Fantastic weekend camping with Guides. Beautiful location with lovely walks and activities. Girls loved exploring the site whilst orienteering. Walk into Lyndhurst was fun and the girls enjoyed looking around the gift shops and sweet shops whilst doing a scavenger hunt. Would definitely come back again! Communicating with the site team was easy - always quick to respond and very helpful.

We are so lucky that Foxlease Future raised the money so we can continue to use this stunning place.

Amazing! It was great. The Brownies loved it and 2 cried as they didnt want to go home.

We stayed in the Barn.

Dorms are comfy, kitchen great, large hall - nothing not to love!

Staff are amazing and we enjoyed the 2 activities we did (Archery and Tunnelling).

Cant wait to stay again.

There were also D of E staying on the Link Field when we were there and another group if campers on a smaller site plus the Lodge and Coach House were occupied by other GirlGuiding groups. Lovely to see it so well used.

Girguiding adventure weekend for guides and rangers from 4 different units in Somerset coordinated by one of them. We were a group of 39 and took over the Coach House which has rooms upstairs for 18 (ensuite trips, singles and doubles) for rangers and half the leaders and then downstairs for 22 (dorm of 18 for the guides plus a leader room of 4 also en suite). We arrived by coach with all our food and gear and the staff were couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The girls did a selection of tunnelling, crate stacking, climbing, archery, traverse wall, wide games, frisbee golf and night line. The instructors were fabulous, the staff on site were fabulous. Honestly couldn't have wished for a better weekend, entirely worth the 2hr return coach trip. The cherry on the cake was paying a top up linen fee for the leader beds to be made with sheets and duvets and for a bath towel to be provided. Total luxury! Thank you Foxlease Park!

15 adults shared The Lodge for the weekend
Great facilities, accomodation very clean and warm. Staff very helpful.

We used Foxlease park for our Charities volunteer training weekend, the team were amazing, welcoming and helpful. We used the lodge and coach house accommodation and the meeting room. Everything was well appointed with all that we needed in the kitchens, meeting rooms and bedrooms. Information both before and after booking was clear and thorough. Food was plentiful and tasty which is a mammoth task with the amount of dietary requirements we have! Overall we would highly recommend - we have already rebooked for next year.

Foxlease Park, owned and run by Foxie’s Future now, is the perfect place for Pack Holidays with Brownies, camping with Guides and Rangers, Leader’s downtime in keeping with the reason it was bequeathed originally bequeathed to Guiding, is now providing the same to Guiding. Youth and Community groups. They are gradually bringing Foxlease back to life, some activities you will need to bring your own trained instructors until they can turn their minds to this, at the moment they have brought the Lodge and Barn back to life, the Coach house they have started on, the main house they are assessing and working on as they can. It is run by volunteer Trustees and volunteers and we went down for the first fundraiser on site, a very enjoyable quiz night!
Check out their website!!

A great place to visit and stay with accommodation in several buildings and places to camp. Several onsite activities to choose from.
This time we stayed in The Lodge, in the downstairs accommodation. It has everything you need for your stay. We were made to feel really welcome.
Everyone is really kind and friendly.

A large group of us stayed across two rooms at Foxlease for a couple of nights and we had the most wonderful weekend. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was homely and informal. As someone who struggles with travel anxiety, this put me right as ease as I felt very settled.
Our meals were lovely and those of us with dietary requirements were catered to perfectly.
The rooms were comfortable and cosy and gave us a stunning view out across the back lawn of the property. The bathrooms we had were decently sized and very clean.
As a group of young people staying away together in a large group, we found the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable and cannot wait to go back.

I am really fussy about where i stay and although the main building is looking very tired and in need of even more cash, it was a joy, spotlessly clean, staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect, i rarely enjoy a full English but this was exceptional. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, pod style bathroom but awesome shower.

an then look at the price! exceptional value. cant wait to return!

Really lovely staff and service, nice clean rooms, beautiful place lovely atmosphere, food was great, very close to the town and many other attractions and walks. Thankyou (: - Scott, Wendy & Christina

Amazing Brownie Holiday

Girguiding adventure weekend

Excellent experience - highly recommend.

A joyful weekend

Good food, chef catered beautifully with my dietary issues - no gluten or dairy. Facilities are basic but clean. Shower lovely - hot. Yes building does need some doing up but people forget this is an old building which has style. Also primary purpose of place is an activity centre. Staff were great, anything I requested they sorted if they could.

Sewing retreat

Amazing and unexpected treat

We were a group of 21 staying in Princess Margaret Lodge. We had to pay extra per head as we decided to book the full house. This was a great decision. The lodge was a great base as it was about 500m from the main house. The girls had voted in advance to do Raft-building, High Ropes and Tunnelling. The instructors Michael for Raft-Building and Hight Ropes and Alex for Tunnelling were super. The girls 'fell' for Michael and he handled it so appropriately. He was great at giving them instruction when needed, encouragement and then knowing when to say to them to get on with it. We also used the swimming pool on-site and it was a big hit. We also spent a morning in Lyndhurst which is just a short walk. We self-catered and used Tesco for our groceries and they were delivered at the time of our arrival. We used The New Forest Butcher (based in Lyndhurst) for all our meat and they couldn't have been more helpful. There was a staff member who came from Girl Guiding HQ who opened the shop for our girls and was so helpful with a number of issues. On our last night, we had a super campfire at the campfire circle. Am already thinking about going back...in a few years time.
