ibis budget Paris Porte de Vanves 

located a short walk away from Malakoff - Plateau de Vanves metro station (line 13) it is out of the way from the busy city but so convenient with public transport links. the hotel was always quiet with no rowdy guests and a calm atmosphere. the rooms are basic but for what you pay more than adequate for a few nights. the bed was very comfy, the room was very clean along with the rest of the hotel. when we were leaving there was a cleaner in the lift on his hands and knees cleaning the lift which is good to see! reception was easy and friendly and everything was explained to us. there are a couple of vending machines in the lobby but from that there's a mcdonalds joined onto the building which is more than convenient for a quick bite to eat. for a 2 star it definitely impressed, i've stayed in far worse hotels with a higher star rating
