We have stayed at the Marc a number of times. It provides a comfortable stay in a great location and is very good value for money. The hotel's proximity to the (currently very chaotic) central station means that there are lots of transport options for visiting the Munich sites or doing day trips. The area around the station is a bit grungy but never feels unsafe. Request a room facing the internal courtyard if you need quiet. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom very good and the rooms well cleaned. Breakfast is good and the service from the breakfast team is excellent.
