Hotel Bellevue 

Stopped at this hotel for several days in February 2025. It is located quite close to Goldeck ski resort - only around 10 minutes by car. Hotel is nice and cosy. It is not the newest of course, but has specious rooms and nice view towards the lake. Lift only goes to 4th floor, so if you stay on 5th one be prepared to walk one staircase. Most of the staff speak some English, but not everybody, so good chance to practice your Deutsch. They are helpful, but don't Rooms was spacious enough (2 adults, 2 kids). For 3 it would be really great. Separate bath room (with two sinks - very convenient) and toilet room, however doors are sliding glass doors, so practically no sound isolation. Two parking on two levels (one below ground on the opposite side). It has very nice lobby with sitting space and real fireplace that was working every evening - great to hang out after the dinner. In a book shelf there are some board games (mostly in German, but instruction are usually available online) and choice of books (mostly in German as well). Hotel has separate locked dry room to store ski equipment, so every morning our shoes and skies where dry and warm! We booked breakfast + dinner package. Breakfast is classic buffet, drinks are included (juice, tea, coffee), with good selection of cheese, prosciutto etc. Dinner is four course serving salad (buffet), soup (one variant, buffet), main (cooked by chef), desert (cooked by chef), drinks are extra. One day a week it is just a simple buffet as it is a day off for chef. All food was testy and properly prepared. I've seen some comments here people complain about food choice, I could easily imagine how it could be for Brits that only eat dönner, fish and chips and Indian take away. Special level of joy for kids was heated indoor swimming pool (bath robes and bath towels are provided on request). It also has big dry sauna (turned on upon request), but it is German style - so no kids and no clothes are allowed :) Overall highly recommended.
