Apartamentos Abaco 

The apartment itself is modern with a lift and well equipped with an oven, microwave and washing machine. The apartments are above commercial offices so noise inside the apartment is largely limited to office hours. Parking is available at the back of the property and on arrival and departure we walked through the offices below the apartment to take our luggage upstairs which saved a walk to the front door. The owner was very friendly and as there was a language barrier she arranged for someone from the office to be in hand to help with the checkin which was appreciated. The front of the apartment is off a square and whilst that was always busy as the apartment was at the back of the building, the main noise came from behind the apartment where a children's trampoline area played loud music all afternoon and evening and an alarm signalled the end of each session. Due to its central location music from bars opposite the rear of the building played loudly until the early hours on a couple of nights and people going back to hotels (we assumed) at about 3am could be heard laughing and shouting for prolonged periods. This was with the windows closed. It was fiesta in Llanes on our last night and we got very little sleep as very loud music played until probably 5am- we were unsure if this was from a stage set up a little way away by the quayside especially for the fiesta or whether it is a normal Friday night event over the road ?! The apartment is central and Llanes is a very bustling busy town and in Spain things tend to liven up later in the evening so if you want calm and tranquil maybe it's not for you.
