Logis Hostellerie Saint Pierre 

I am sure that the owners think that he highlight of their hotel is the seven-course evening meal of inventive nouvelle cuisine. We thought it was the wonderful spread of goodies at the buffet breakfast. Rooms are basic (but with good showers) and in the evening nothing is allowed to interfere with the preparations for dinner - and that includes guests wanting an aperitif, who must wait for the appointed hour! To be fair, the dinners were somewhere between very good and excellent - and reasonably priced to boot. The chef is prepared to experiment with all sorts of unusual flavour combinations, and only a few dishes didn't quite work. Quantities varied between the tiny and a surprisingly large dish of more simply cooked snails.
