A very convenient place to stay on the way back to the Channel Tunnel.  The rooms are comfortable with an ingenious bathroom “pod” similar to what you may find in Ferry cabin or Campervan.  On street parking, in BLUE parking bays (Parking Bleu) from 18:00 is free until 09:00 and between 12:30 & 14:00.  One and a half hours free parking is also allowed if you purchase a “Parking Disque” from the Bookshop close by.  Secure Parking IS an available on request but I understand there are very few spaces, I think 3(?).  Breakfast has a nice selection including boil it yourself eggs!The number 4 bus will take you from the station to the City on the hill or it is approximately 5 minutes by car.  The Cathedral and Medieval streets are interesting with a LOT of history and there are nice places to eat, including the hotel opposite the Cathedral.

The staff were especially friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the help with our motorhome parking. Room’s were clean and ideal for our stopover. The area is okay, a lot of kebab shops instead of restaurants, but we found a good local restaurant up by the cathedral. Location was great - right at the bottom of the stairs to hike to the old town.

Easy to find. Not impressive from the outside but recently refurbished, new shower and generally in very good condition. Helpful receptionist who also provided a good breakfast. Perfectly suitable for a one or two night stop.Parking in front of hotel, paid for from 09:00 but that wouldn't matter for one night with an early-ish start.Fast food joint down stairs so youngsters hanging around but they were no problem and the car was safe.A drive from the medieval town - otherwise a very stiff walk up steep steps.
