This chateau has been lovingly restored by the owners Muriel and Chris, each room is unique and with many interesting and artistic features. Its quirky and really cute but does lack some modern conveniences like air con. The restaurant is only open on Saturday night, but they will knock up a snack (cheese and meat board) if requested. Pool area and terrace are lovely and its a nice quiet location. you can walk into Martillac (5 mins) for the boulangerie or a restaurant, but be aware that most things are closed on Sundays. Be prepared to relax and enjoy, the owners are charming and very interesting to chat with, especially in the bar.
