This is a 2 star hotel and restaurant but in my opinion the restaurant should be 3 star. The rooms are adequate and the beds comfortable and the hotel is situated alongside the river Allier with scenic views. The breakfast is very good and the hotel has a full menu and also, during the week, a buffet at lunchtime. The location is ideal for those seeking a stopover on their way up or down through France.
