This is everything one hopes for in a French gîte. Charming hostess, who is very knowledgeable about lots of walks in the Auvergne. Very comfortable beds - best sleep I have had in a long time. The apartment is unique in the best possible way. It’s a real pleasure to stay here. Everything works, the WiFi is fine, the terrace is a great place to sit, under the shade of the trees on the hot days. A fine small supermarket and a great boulangerie are just a couple of minutes walk away. The Church of Saint Nectaire is about five minutes walk up the hill, and there is a weekly market around the church. Reserved parking for the villa is just opposite. We are very sorry to leave - this is a great place to stay.
