So Pleased to find this charming hotel. Warm welcome, easy Parking. Large comfortable rooms, with access direct on to gardens, ideal for our dogs. Pretty courtyard dinning, Delicous set menu, tasty local wine. Will definitely return if we are in this part of the world again!

We stayed here because there were a concentration of folklore and my boyfriend took part from it. We stayed for a weekend (one night) and booked the breakfast apart. The hotel is so nice, as the staff. They did a big effort to understand us due to we don't speak French. There's one boy who speaks a little bit of Spanish and helped us a lot.

The room is so clean, nice, and comfortable. If I have to say one bad thing about it, is that you only have a little bottle of shampoo and a little piece of soab for the bathroom. The bedroom is so light and big enough for two people. The hotel is so quit, and although there's the road beside it, you don't hear it from the bedroom.

The swimming pool is big, clean, anf quiet. Maybe the wood which sorrounds de pool needs to be repaired, and the grass cut, but everything else is perfect.

The breakfast costs 12€, which I consider a little bit expensive, but the breakfast is ok. You have croissants, bread, cereals, coffee, juices, etc; and you can eat it in the beautiful space they have outside.

In conclusion, I think it's a good hotel to stay in Thuir, and it's just 5-7 minutes walking from the village center.

I would warmly recommend this hotel, with its nice location outside a traditional french village. Great hospitality and good french cuisine and nice accomodation with newly renovated bedrooms.

We will surely return to this Hotel!

To be fair to La Fauvelle our stay was at the very end of the season; what had probably been a very busy and full season. The common areas and extensive grounds looked tired and in need of attention.
Having said that the staff were attentive and pleasant, the room was clean and well presented with direct access to the gardens.
We stayed 3 nights and had no complaints. Only 15 minutes into Perpignan and 30 minutes to the coast or deep into the Pyrenees. The large swimming pool would be great on a hot summer's day.

Stayed here 2 years ago when Mario was the manager of the hotel. The hotel felt flat without his vibrant personality. Only salads are now offered for evening meals, with reduced options for breakfast. Previously we enjoined returning to the courtyard in the evening for a glass of wine, with Mario asking what we had done during the day and giving us ideas for the days ahead. Sadly the courtyard was often empty and lacked the welcoming atmosphere we had previously experienced.

I would still recommend it but if you have stayed here before then the experience won't be quite the same.
