We Stayed here more for its location central to the places we wanted to visit, so for that it was great. Taking my young son 2-1/2 years old i thought it would be nice to stay somewhere with something for him to do. Admittedly most of the things to do are more for older children but he still enjoyed it. Mainly for the sand pits and beach, and the petting zoo which he loved.The Restaurant was good, but very quiet, the whole site was very quiet with it only coming to life at the weekend due to this it lacked any atmosphere. And the placed looked closed as nobody was about. The Tuscany cottage we rented was fine, basic but clean and had everything we needed but had the worst Pillows i have ever encountered. Would have been nice to have had a BBQ to use but aside from that they were fine for our needs. Pool and lake werent the cleanest when we arrived, certainly not clean enough to use but it was fairly cold so we opted for the excellent indoor swimming pool just a few miles away in Munster. Shops like lidl and aldi are just a few miles away Its definately a family park, but probably more suited for older kids.
