This is a fantastic family run hotel in a prime location for visiting many beautiful locations along the river Weser & beyond not just the lovely town of Bad Pyrmont. The owners, Marlies & Dittmar, make you feel at home right away & couldn't do enough to make our 5 day stay the best during our 2 week trip around North Germany. The rooms are large & comfortable & those at the front of the hotel overlooking the gorgeous millpond are well worth the small extra price. Marlies has a fantastic knowledge of the area & was able to point us in te right direction to make the most of our time. She also provides one of the best breakfasts you have ever seen which was included in the price. Dittmar is a very talented chef, cooking local fresh ingredients to produce fantastic dishes to suit every pallet. As a hotel guest he will make you dishes off the restaurant menu (ingredients permitting). This is definitely one of the best stays we have had on our many tours around Europe & would recommend this hotel to any travelers looking for a homely welcome & a departure from chain hotels.
