We had a pleasant stay at this small gasthaus. I think it is combined with another gasthaus that occupies the same building as we checked in at the entrance to the other hotel "Alpenhotel Pfaffenwinkle". We were walked to our rooms by the owner which was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and we had nice breezes coming in the room although it was a little warm. We did hear noise from people out and about late in the evening but there is nothing the inn can do about that. I enjoyed the silky smooth sheets and pillows. The bathroom had a huge old tub that you could soak in forever - not all rooms have tubs though. Breakfast was very nice - the normal hard boiled eggs, yogurt, rolls and bread with spreads as well as meats and cheeses. They had a really nice apple sauce that was great stirred in to yogurt. The building is very old and the inn is decorated in an old Bavarian style with heavy furniture, lots of wood paneling and brocades. There is a greek restaurant adjacent to the inn but we didn't eat there. It was a very cozy stay and I highly recommend this gasthaus.
