Gasthaus Grüner Baum 

You probably will not find it, if you don't explicitly look for it, or have family or friends recommending it. It's a typical Franconian "Landgasthof" (restaurant in the countryside) in a small village close to Würzburg and Kitzingen, in the region of Ochsenfurt and Markbreit. Very close to the A7 motorway from Würzburg to Rothenburg. We were there with the larger family for a late Christmas dinner on a Sunday. There were quite some guests, probably more than the inhabitants of this village (just kidding!). The service was very attentive, but decent - typically for a family-run business. The meals (at lunch time) were absolutely fine, whatever we chose. A clear recommendation! The sole thing I was missing was the typical Franconian "Schäuferle" (a roasted pork shoulder with the typical dumblings "Klöss" oder "Knödel").
