First of all - if you are going to Cabourg, book well in advance. We were very lucky to have found a room at this place for one night, since literally ALL rooms in this wonderful small town were booked out on the weekend in June we happened to be driving through on our road trip.

We used the phone numer which was displayed in the window, since there is no reception, and someone came right away, so the owners must live near by. Owners were friendly, and also talked English, since it was difficult to communicate with us with our very poor French.

The room was small but clean, quiet, and although the bed was not very comfortable it was good enough for what we needed - a one night stay.

The one thing we really missed - there were no lamps in the room except the ceiling lights, which is not very nice for reading. I hope the owners will change that after reading this. Also - it would have been nice to have a kettle and tea/coffee, since there was nowhere nearby to have a hot drink, and the cafe that belongs to the same family was shut already.

Small hotel in Cabourg, with a B+B feel

OK: Situation is next to the Pasteur bus station - the entrance gate of Cabourg, so easy to catch the bus to Caen or Douville to go back to Paris by train. It is far from center of Cabourg around 1km, so you can walk.
BUTTTTT: The information about this hotel on Booking said that it has Wifi Free. However, it doesn't! Another disadvantage is that the owner couldn't say English, it's really a problem if you don't know French. When I want to ask something about Cabourg, she could not help me at anything!
Because the situation is not very central, the silence of the hotel make me nervous, especially when I want to call the reception but no one shown. The room is not only too small but also doesn't have any kind of entertainment except a TV that broadcasts only French-speaking channels. I have only one choice is that try to sleep and long for escaping this place to go the next morning!
If you wanna a romantic trip on such nice town like Cabourg, should not choose another hotel.
