We stayed at the maison Thais and had the pleasure of enjoying an amazing town and festival. When we arrived in Arles there had been a nix up with our deposit and booking.As we had been in France for a week already the owner Mr Alban Harley had been unable to contact us.He had made an alternate arrangement and everything worked out perfectly.The House we stayed at was a block from his own and was perfect for us.We had the entire place to ourselves and loved it.Arles is an old Roman city full of Roman ruins and a apitheatre that is still in use today.The towns people were friendly and helpful at every opportunity .The Van Gogh sites were an added bonus to the historical sites. I cannot say enough about the efforts of mr Harley to make things workout despite the glitch with our booking.The town is a must see if your in the area.We stayed in the old town and were able to walk to everything.Lovely cafes and always a boulangerie close by.
