Fantastic
Joncels is a village in the middle of nowhere. It is hard to describe how tranquil it is surrounded by hills suitable for walking or cycling. Alain and Giedre always have a warm welcome for us, we have stayed here 5 times now. It is not on any tourist route but we always detour on our travels through France so that we can stay here. The evening meals are freshly cooked using produce picked from their own allotments, and the portions are very generous. The breakfasts are buffet style and include Giedre's homemade jams. They only have a few rooms which are individually designed, and are decorated to the taste of the owners which means they are interesting. We love staying here. You should try it if you like something different.
