Studios les Iris

Excellent
We rented the Hortensia apartment for 7 nights whilst looking for a property to buy in France in the Loire. This place is brilliantly situated for tourists (and house hunters) - right in the centre of "chateau land", (there's a chateau virtually every 5 km), just 10 minutes off the motorway (A85), approx. 45 minutes from Tours and just 5 minutes from a pretty town with several good restaurant. The close restaurants were great for us as we often returned late but the facilities in the apartment were also fine for the cooking we did some nights. We had some lovely nights eating our meal on the patio outside the apartment whilst stargazing. And the heated pool was great for relaxing by when we had a break from househunting. But the most important element of any such rental is the owner who in this case was a great host who provided lots of local information and made us very welcome.
