Vacancéole - Résidence Ar Peoc'h 

My husband and I stayed at the Residence Ar Peoc'h a couple of weeks ago, and we are still talking about what a great experience we had. We arrived early, before the hotel actually opened, and our host welcomed us and gave us an apartment "upgrade." He is charming, funny, friendly but not intrusive, and he made us feel very welcome. We had a terrific space, with a large living room/dining area, a small, but very functional kitchen, a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed, and a large bathroom with the best water pressure in Europe. The apartment was well stocked with dishes, appliances, linens, large closets, and a very nice TV and everything was spotless. The view from the apartment was lovely- beautifully maintained grounds and the woods beyond. It was too cold to use the pool, but it looked very nice and there were lots of comfortable chairs, etc. There is also a free parking lot just in the back with an entrance and an elevator, so you don't have to drag your bags! It was difficult returning to Baltimore after relaxing for a short time in this idyllic town. Just around the corner from the Ar Peoc'h are creperies, restaurants, antique shops, and gorgeous buildings covered in plants and flowers. Nearby is a lake, and down the road several other lovely towns. Questembert and Vannes are within easy reach. A terrific location with one of the nicest hotel managers in France! We can't wait to return.
