I recently visited my family in Buxtehude, and I stayed at the Hotel Stemmann. I have been there on several previous trips. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was very nice. I also had lunch in the restaurant, and the food was very good. Frank Stemmann has always made me feel welcome and has always been helpful. The location is great for anyone visiting Buxtehude. On my next trip to visit my family, I certainly will stay there again.

This was my 3rd stay at Hotel Stemmann. It was a comfortable and reasonably priced hotel. The owner, Frank, has always been healpful and nice. All the people at the hotel were helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of things for a typical German breakfast. I hope to visit again in the future. It is a convenient locationfor anyone visiting Buxtehude and the surrounding area.

I have now stayed at this hotel on 2 different trips. It is a small hotel, but comfortable and very nice. It is also reasonably priced, and the breakfast buffet has always been good. Herr Stemmann has always been helpful, friendly, and the location is great if you are visiting Buxtehude and the Alten Land. I look forward to staying there again on my next trip to north Germany to visit family and friends in the area.

Nice older and smaller hotel

Older smaller hotel very friendly and comfortable

Comfortable smaller family run hotel

I visited this family-run hotel on the weekend, one night from Saturday to Sunday. Hotel smelled of cooking oil and old age. Everywhere dust, rust and mold in the bathroom. I do not go to this hotel already. Spare room we did not get, was fully occupied. Hotel chose the travel agency with which we traveled. In the surroundings is not shop/supermarket, only petrol station and McDonald (2 kilometers). in the immediate vicinity trains go. The restaurant is closed on weekends. Bad choice.

Dirt and mold

The service is nice, but it is a very old hotel, walls are dirty, TV is tiny, it all looks from the 70's. Some of the walls look wet and paint is coming off, the reservations are done in little pieces of paper and they take forever to find them, no computers. Would not recommend and will not repeat.
