Tree Inn - Das Baumhaushotel 

My family and I stayed in both Baumhaus 1 & 2 on August 18, 2019. This place is amazing! Just wish we could have stayed longer. First, the setting is fantastic. How cool to be right inside the Wolfcenter and be able to watch the wolves as much as you want from a window right in your own little private space? Second, the treehouse is simply beautiful! Clean and well equipped. Bed and fold out that were both super comfy. A nice jetted tub. Well stocked fridge... plus extra beer that I also requested.The breakfast basket that I ordered in advance would have been fit for a king! Then there is the upper deck. Wow! Nice seating. Great view but the coolest part of the experience was actually being out there at night and listening to the wolves howl back and forth. I would say we got to hear them at least a half dozen times plus again early in the morning. It was awesome.... and gave me lots of goosebumps! Little tip... Try howling at the wolves. At first you might feel silly but when they respond it will definitely put a smile on your face. The man in charge was so nice. He answered questions and told us about the wolves as he walked us to our accommodations. Not going to lie. This is not cheap accommodations but it is so unique and totally worth the splurge to have such a one of a kind experience. The rate does includes park entry and access to the park after it is closed to the public which is a very nice perk. Plus a portion of the funds go towards the care of the wolves and educating the public.
