Storchen Hotel Garni 

The hotel is not going to be everyone's taste. It is on a busy street, although they do have rooms facing the back, and those are quiet. There is a LOT of decorations everywhere! I thought it was kind of funny, but some might feel it is too much. It seems that the rooms have themes. I had an ocean room, facing the back. It was spacious and clean. The decoration was tasteful and it even had a small working area. It would have been nice to have a garbage can in the room, but otherwise it was fine. It did, however, feel more like someone's private guest room than a hotel room. Some might be put off by that. The only real problem that I had with the room is that the walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors and they can hear you. The breakfast was adequate. Nothing to write home about, but sufficient. The only other piece of advice for the hotel might be to have their English materials and instructions translated by a native English speaker. I laughed quite a bit at the translations, but if you don't understand German, then they could be really confusing.
