Malvern View Hotel

A gem of a B&B! Great location: very easy access from Cheltenham, plenty of places to eat nearby, and the Cotswold Way just up the hill behind the building. The rooms are very pretty & comfy and the guest lounge is a lovely place to relax. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, with the tea and cake on arrival a lovely touch. Fantastic breakfast and a cute little dog! Couldn't ask for more!

Our second stay at The Malvern View, and just as good as the last. Lovely welcome, with tea and cake, and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast choice has everything you need to set you up for a day at the races. In a lovely location, with beautiful views, and lovely walks over Cleeve Hill. Such lovely, friendly owners who ensure you have a comfortable stay. We can’t wait to go back next time we go to the races!!

We had a lovely room in a beautiful location and received a very warm homely welcome. Breakfast was very tasty especially the scrambled eggs with plenty of choice. We feel really lucky that we found this wonderful B&B at the last minute when the previous accommodation we had booked elsewhere was no where near the standard of this one. Would highly recommend and will we will be coming back!

Malvern View has my highest recommendation. The current owners have been running it for a few years now, and their excellence is evident in the number of visitors who regularly return. The breakfast is excellent, with several selections from full English to light and healthy, and high quality ingredients. Rooms are comfortable and receive daily attention. There is plenty of parking and a comfortable common area with an honor bar. Stephen and Michelle made us feel welcome, and provided suggestions for local activities and walks. The location may seem remote, but it is at a bus stop and has an excellent pub nearby within an easy walk, and its setting on Cleeve Hill is an unexpected bonus, with views for days.

We had a wonderful stay at Malvern View. The house is absolutely beautiful and our room was so lovely with our own private little garden and the best views to cleeve hill. The bed was SO comfortable and we had everything we could need and more, like some delicious complimentary teas, hot chocolate, cookies. Breakfast was incredible, so tasteful and fresh every day, and there is a wonderful pub at walking distance. Stephen was very kind and helped us with questions and tips about the area. We did a little bit of the Cotswolds way and it was so much fun. Location is excellent, about 15 mins drive to Cheltenham (there is a bus right out the door and also taxis/uber are available), a cute little town with lots of shops and restaurants, very well connected with transport to and from London and Bristol, and also buses (in case you don’t have a car like us) that take you to many of the most beautiful Cotswolds villages like Bourton on the water, Stow on the wold, lower slaughter and more. Definitely recommend visiting the area, it’s very much worth the hype, and staying at Malvern view was the best way to do it.

A top notch B&B with an amazingly clean and wonderful setting in the Cotswolds!! I’ve stayed there two years in a row: first, completed the Cotswold Way backpacking and then last May after completing the 200 mile Coast to Coast Walk and revisited the CW from Cheltenham to Chipping Camden. Honestly, Malvern View was the finest accommodation I’ve stayed in all of England and from my camping and other B&B’s, the hosts Stephen and Michelle are beyond compare! The ability to literally walk outside from the B&B up to Cleeve Hill and the panorama view of Cheltenham will not disappoint !! Highly recommend and the breakfast is astounding with variety and freshness!! The best coffee I’ve had anywhere!!

We booked Malvern View for a weekend away with friends to go to the races. We were not disappointed! Michelle and Steve were the perfect hosts! On arrival we were shown to our rooms including help with luggage and then treated to a pot of tea and a beautiful slice of cake! Our room was well equipped and the bed super comfy. The views from our were beautiful and the walk along Cleeve Hill to the local pub were an added bonus. Little gestures like having the racing post available at breakfast, made for an exceptional stay. Cooked breakfast was tasty, with a great range of juices, pastries and cereals. A good base to get to the races, and to explore the local area. We would definitely stay again!!

Everything was great! The host was very welcoming, the room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable! In the morning we enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast that set us off in the very best way for our day of hiking on the Cotswold Way.

Michelle and Steve were the perfect hosts. Gave lots of tips for places to visit and nothing was a bother. We booked two rooms, once for teenagers and one for us. Our room had a lovely garden which suited our dog perfectly. We even had a little dog basket with everything you could need. The hills right behind made for the perfect morning dog walk and the sunset from the front porch was magical. Not to forget the homely cooked breakfast with so many options we had something different every day from healthy to naughty 😁. My daughter is Celiac and they cater exceptionally well for her too. The lounge room was a great place to unwind after a sightseeing day and play some card and board games or just sit and read the paper.

Definitely visit and stay a while!!

The house is beautiful, dining room is cosy and overlooking the Hills . The rooms are elegantly decorated, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds , spacious rooms and big Bathrooms. There are many rooms to choose from all are on the same standards but vary in size , beds, bath and view. Breakfast is rich and have varieties to choose from . The service is personal and rooms are cleaned daily. The view is gorgeous, very very beautiful walks from the hotel backyard to Cleeve Hills both Gentle and uphill walks all are breathtaking. The hotel is centrally located to the beautiful villages and restaurants at night. The cherry 🍒 on the cake are the hosts. Simply amazing and attentive. They make you feel at home, so pleasant and over attentive to all details to make you happy with many lovely touching gestures which made us overwhelmed. Thank you very much for such a pleasant memorable family holiday.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful B&B

Excellent B&B!

The most beautiful b&b in the Cotswolds

An amazing B&B with an absolute touch of perfection!

Firm favourite!!

Enjoyed a lovely three night stay at the Malvern View. Homely and a great room with a good view. Other guests there created a good atmosphere at breakfast with everyone exchanging views on places to go and where to eat.
Location is ideal for visiting Cheltenham Race course and exploring the Cotswolds.
Have stayed before and will stay again!
