We popped in here for a bite to eat unfortunately they never served food. The landlord pointed us in the right direction to a pub that did serve food which I thought was nice so we stayed for a drink. We decided to get a cab back to our site as we had walked for 1 hour. No cabs.
The landlord said “I will take too Galant” which was 1 mile from our site and it was their annual fete day.
He took us 3 miles and wouldn’t take any money. This man restored my faith in humanity. Thank you very much landlord.

Cant recommend this pub highly enough. The place had a very welcoming atmosphere and the locals were all lovely to talk to! Plus a huge pool table inside which is always a bonus! Staff are very kind and friendly I’m a solo traveller and was met with smiles and chats as I walked in. Also forever in debt to the landlord who helped me when I was very lost! Cant thank you enough. Be back soon and telling everyone I meet about this place whilst I’m in cornwall.

Excellent service with a smile ,landlord very accommodating. Warm and friendly atmosphere, free hat with every pint through December. These hats will keep you warm on cold winter nights.you must come and visit this pub.

Really friendly & welcoming pub, really friendly staff and service with a smile, nothing seems to much trouble and happy to discuss local beers, with a great selection of local & national beers, even got a pool table which was a bonus, I’ll definitely be back.

Been to Par several times and always visit The Par Inn, great local pub everyone makes you feel so welcome Matt, all the bar staff and the locals. We will be back, not to to be missed pay it a visit you won’t be disappointed.

We recently stayed up the road from this pub. The landlord Matt was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable re the area gave us lots of very helpful tips of where to go for the beach & golf etc
We really enjoyed many a pint 🍺 and a large Chardonnay thanks to the regulars for making us so welcome!
Lots of outside seating and great for watching sports 🏈

Came across this pub while walking in the Luxulyan Valley, nice little find. I thought I had been here many years ago and I think I can just about remember popping into this place all those years ago In my opinion this is an excellent pub, had a pint of Cornish and a pint of Tribute, felt a nice atmosphere and very handy for the rail station. The toilets were spotless. I would certainly like to visit this pub again :-)

We popped in here after a walk round the local area. Very friendly staff who were up for a chat while we were there. The pub had nice atmosphere and is somewhere i would recommend for pint if you are staying in the area.

Went to The Par Inn for a Christmas Day Drink...Packed house as usual....Wished everyone in the house a Merry Christmas....Got a great response....Very friendly atmosphere...Great staff who are always welcoming.....Great surroundings. Good selection of ales.....It is a well kept local pub.... pay a visit next time you are in the area.......

We popped in a few times during our four night stay in Par Sands. A great local boozer with friendly staff and locals who made us feel very welcome. Also, very dog friendly. Would highly recommend ... and it has Sky Sports

Landlord is a super hero.

Lovely staff

Fantastic friendly proper pub

Nice Pub

Friendly

.. in this great wee pub, beside the Cornish Coastal path.
Already quite a few customers early at lunch time. A friendly welcome from the landlord/barman and a refreshing beer became beers, before we turned left out of the pub and back over the hill towards Charlestown.
The Landlord helpfully suggested another local walk we might do and gave practical suggestions, as to how best effect it.

Popped in for a pint..

I spent a few nights in the Par Inn this week watching the mid week Champions League football.

A lovely pub, good beer, a great crowd and I was made to feel most welcome as a non local on my own.

A little gem - I will be back later in the season.

Thanks all !!

Brilliant

We have visited this pub a few times now and the welcome has always been friendly.
Matt the landlord is always helpful and knowledgeable and the locals are a friendly bunch.
If you're in the area go and visit, you won't he disappointed.
Sorry, but I don't believe the reviewer who gave this place a poor review. That's not the Par Inn we know and certainly not the landlord.
Would happily visit there again anytime we are in the area.

We had problems with our car last time and Matt kindly rang around to find a garage that could do the work for us.
