Raeli Hotel Luce 

I loved staying here! Yes, Hotel Luce is dated. No, it’s not fancy. But honestly, I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioning worked well, the internet was excellent, and those two things mattered a lot to me. The rooms were clean, and the staff deserve a thousand stars! They were absolutely amazing, friendly, and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location is a huge plus. There are an incredible number of restaurants nearby, with so many choices, good hours, and great reviews. It made finding somewhere to eat incredibly easy, and I really appreciated having so many options within walking distance. The hotel is also extremely convenient for transportation. The nearby train and bus terminal made getting around so easy, whether I was taking public transportation, catching a taxi, or ordering an Uber. It was a great base for exploring the city and getting to and from my tours. There are a few quirks that come with staying in an older hotel. For example, when you leave your room, the door knobs don’t really turn, so you have to pull the door shut behind you. It makes a bit of a thud, but it’s just part of the charm of an old hotel, and I never really minded it. There are also some electrical quirks. When someone calls the elevator, uses a hair dryer, or plugs something into the wall chargers, the lights seem to dim. It’s unusual, but it didn’t cause any problems for me. During my tours this week, I heard plenty of complaints from people staying at hotels throughout the city center, at all different price levels. So I think I got lucky with Hotel Luce and I will absolutely take that luck! It may not be fancy or modern, but it was clean, comfortable, well located, and had everything that mattered to me. With the fantastic staff, excellent internet, working air conditioning, amazing restaurant options nearby, and the convenience of the train and bus terminal, I would definitely recommend Hotel Luce and would happily stay here again
